Pismo Beach Car Show Schedule for Friday 6-17-11

7:00 AM – Breakfast in the Hot Rod Bar & Grill-Public Welcome

9:00 AM – Vendors Open -Pier Parking lot-Open to 10:00 PM – Vendors ranging from Food to Arts and Crafts, clothing, auto related, specialty items, etc. will all be on hand to give you a wide variety of food and fun to choose from.

10:00 AM – Registration.

10:00 AM – Poker Run (Self Guided at your leisure)

5:30 PM – Charity Poker Tournament. $50.00 Buy-In @ The Hot Rod Bar & Grill.

8:30 PM – Live Entertainment in the Hot Rod Bar & Grill. Free Admission – Public Welcome! Open Till 11:00 PM

There was a huge crowd this afternoon and this evening at the SLO Chamber Mixer Showcase at the Madonna Expo Center. There were so many people that cars were parking in the lower pasture with the Madonna horses. It is the largest business to business trade show on the central coast.
We spoke with Tim Williams from Digital West Networks who had a booth there. He and his staff were busy
greeting and meeting people and telling them about their Metro Fiber Services.
Digital West continues its quest to provide San Luis Obispo County with Internet services normally found only in larger metropolitan areas. The big telecom companies don’t believe there is a business case for building extensive fiber optic networks in our community. Digital West is proving that there is the demand, and that it can be done. Digital West is expanding its fiber optic network to deliver 100 Mbps, GigE, and 10 GigE speeds for commercial-grade Internet and WAN connections.
